Warrant Holders
Q. I hold warrants of Excelsior Energy Limited that was acquired by Athabasca in 2010. When do my warrants expire?
A. Pursuant to a November 9, 2010 Plan of Arrangement involving Excelsior, the Security holders of Excelsior, Athabasca and 1558693 Alberta Ltd; outstanding Excelsior common share purchase warrants were exchanged for Athabasca common share purchase warrants expiring on November 9, 2012. For further details, please refer to the Plan of Arrangement available at www.sedar.com (under Excelsior Energy Limited).
Q. I accidentally missed exercising my warrants before the November 9, 2012 expiry. As the original warrants were not supposed to expire until 2013 or 2015, can I still exercise?
A. As the expiry date has passed, the warrants can no longer be exercised. Pursuant to the Plan of Arrangement, the warrants expiring in 2013 and 2015 were exchanged for warrants expiring in 2012.
